Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. After achieving fame through his roles on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he appeared in more 20 feature films like The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and The Lost Law & Order as well as many others. Qualls has survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was first diagnosed as a teenager. of age. After two years of treatment the cancer is now into the stage of remission. Being treated at such a young time had negative effects on the body. This impeded his growth. Because he was a child of poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. He stated, "I've been living so frugal for so many years and I'm desperate for financial security otherwise the world can seem out of control and that's not good for me." Also, looking back to his youth, he wants to change the course of the bullying issue. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The ideal character for him in films and in his life is that of father. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, but he does say. It's a dream to one day be an adult, and the time comes when he can devote much less time working and spend more time with his children.
